CD Art Contest

Se vc gostou das ilustras em CD feitas pelo Christian, agora você também pode fazer as suas e ainda ganhar uma graninha. As ilustras fizeram tanto sucesso que ele resolveu promover um concurso de ilustras em CD, bem legal!

If you’ve liked the “hole art” made by Christian, the illustrations were such a success that he started a CD Art Contest.

Real Time Rome

“MIT’s Senseable City Lab is using cellphone data to model Rome’s populations. The project is called Real Time Rome. It is an exhibit at architecture conference La Biennale di Venezia’s show Global Cities (shown Sept 10 – Nov 19 2006).”

By the way, this MIT project, called Senseable City Lab is really, really interesting.

About:

“The real-time city is now real! The increasing deployment of sensors and hand-held electronics in recent years is allowing a new approach to the study of the built environment. The way we describe and understand cities is being radically transformed – alongside the tools we use to design them and impact on their physical structure. Studying these changes from a critical point of view and anticipating them is the goal of the SENSEable City Laboratory, a new research initiative at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.”
